About
Since I embarked on my journey as a runner in 2006, I've discovered the profound connection between our bodies and movement, leading to a deeper appreciation of running as a skill. This exploration has been a continuous adventure, constantly challenging both mind and body, ultimately fostering a profound love for the sport.
Driven by a passion for understanding the intricacies of the human body, I pursued education in Physical Therapy back in my home country of Chile. This endeavor not only provided me with valuable insights into the mechanics of the body but also presented an opportunity to compete collegiately in track and field and cross country at the Catholic University of Valparaiso.
In tandem with my athletic pursuits, I founded a local running club to share my knowledge of running as a movement skill with aspiring athletes. This endeavor eventually led me to the role of Director and later Regional President of the Track and Field Association of Valparaiso, Chile. During my tenure, I furthered my expertise by obtaining an IAAF Level 1 Certification in track and field through lectures conducted in Argentina. In 2014, I had the privilege of attending the IAAF World Indoor Championship in Poland.
Following the completion of my physical therapy degree in Chile, I relocated to the United States, where I actively challenge myself on both road and trail runs.
As an avid trail runner, I find immense joy and fulfillment in dedicating my free time to the sheer pleasure of running. This experience, coupled with my background in physical therapy and extensive running journey, inspired the creation of BETTER MOTION coaching. My ultimate goal is to guide YOU toward the fullest expression of your body in movement.
